1. Scope

These terms apply to the use of the app Belg, offered by Pangolin UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Hansestraße 3, 59590 Geseke, Germany.

Belg is aimed at families and private households. Use for commercial purposes is not intended.

In case of doubt, the German version of these terms applies.

2. What Belg is

Belg is an app with which a household organises its everyday life: missions with photo proof, a household currency with a shop, shared lists, appointments, learning modules and a connection to the school software WebUntis.

The contract for use is concluded through the App Store. The contractual partner for payment is the operator of the App Store.

3. Accounts and roles

A household is created by an adult. That adult adds further people and assigns their roles.

Children do not sign themselves up. Those holding parental responsibility decide which functions a child sees and are responsible for their children's use.

Credentials are to be kept confidential.

4. Plans and prices

Belg Basic is free for good and covers the loop of missions, proofs and shop as well as lists, appointments, documents and weather.

Belg Plus costs 8,99 euros per month or 69,99 euros per year and unlocks the remaining functions, among them BelgAI, the learning modules, the school connection and the hot buttons. A Plus subscription covers up to eight people of one household.

All prices are final prices including statutory value added tax.

Billing runs through the App Store. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled in time.

5. Term and cancellation

The subscription can be cancelled at any time through the App Store's subscription management. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

After a Plus subscription ends, the household remains and continues with the scope of Basic. No content is lost.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a right of withdrawal for contracts about digital content. The details and its exercise follow the terms of the App Store through which the contract was concluded.

7. Availability

We aim for continuous operation but do not owe any particular availability. Maintenance and faults can lead to interruptions.

The connection to WebUntis is in beta. It depends on how the respective school sets up its system and whether it opens the interface. There is no claim to this connection working at a particular school.

The AI functions require an access that you enter yourself. Its availability and cost are the responsibility of the respective provider.

8. User content

You are responsible for the content you put into Belg. This applies in particular to photos.

We do not look at your content, unless it is necessary for troubleshooting and you have asked us to.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for damage arising from injury to life, body or health.

For slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract.

Belg does not replace supervision. Functions such as the call for help, the critical alert or the internet block are aids, not safety equipment. Do not rely on the app in an emergency.

10. Changes

We may change these terms where there is an objective reason. We will inform you about a change in good time in the app. If you do not object, the new version applies.

11. Final provisions

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.
