Extra housework becomes missions, missions become beans, and beans become things your children look forward to. And you deliver just as much as they do.
Anything beyond ordinary life together goes in as a mission: clearing the cellar, washing the car, walking the dog when it was someone else's turn. You say how many beans the mission is worth. When it gets done is up to the child, and that is exactly what makes it different from nagging.
Once the mission is done, the child photographs the result. The picture lands on your phone. One tap, and the beans move to their account. If the cellar is only half cleared, you send the proof back. That saves the checking and the argument about whether it counts as finished.
You fill the shop. It holds no toys, but the things a child actually saves up for: time together, longer evenings, more screen time. The child sees what costs what, saves towards it and buys it once they have enough.
This is where the whole system stands or falls. The child does something they would not have done otherwise. In return it is your turn when they cash in: if the swimming pool is in the shop and your child has earned it, then you go to the swimming pool. Not some time, not when it happens to suit. Beans are worth exactly as much as you honour them, and children notice faster than any accountant when a currency stops being worth anything.
Behind it sits a real ledger, not a score. Every entry stays traceable, and the balance cannot quietly drift.
What it looks like
An invented household — Mia, Jonas, Sarah and Daniel. The numbers and rewards are examples; you fill the shop yourselves.

A currency in a child's room can easily backfire. So we gave ourselves four rules, and we play by them too.
Beans are not taken away again. If something does not get done, nothing is earned. A currency you can lose again teaches caution, not independence.
Clearing your own plate is part of living together and is not paid for. Beans are for the extra work, for what would otherwise stay with you.
Ordering at the bakery alone, going down to the cellar in the dark, the talk in front of the class. If you know what your child avoids, that is exactly the mission worth the most.
The shop holds permissions, not things: staying up later, unlocking a game, walking to a friend alone. You decide what is in it and what it costs.
The app does not force this on you. Amounts can be corrected by hand at any time, in both directions. We simply stick to it, and the missions are built that way.

The shopping list is spread across four messages
Whoever finishes the milk types in milk. Whoever shops ticks it off. And one button on the home screen asks the family whether anything is missing before you drive off.
Your child is home alone
The children have a call for help with a voice message and a call back. You have a critical alert that gets through even on a silent phone. Plus the calm buttons: dinner is ready, going shopping.
The bus pass is at home
Bus pass, swimming badge, club card, vaccination record: filed per child and on the phone when you are not standing next to them.
Sunday, and it is the same question again
Seven days for your place, plus the radar from the German weather service. Good for the day out, the birthday party and the afternoon plan. And the child can see whether a jacket will do today.

Learning
Reading, arithmetic and vocabulary. All three are built as games, and none of them pays out endlessly: arithmetic and vocabulary give at most one bean a day, and the reading module pays nothing. Practice happens because it pulls, not because it pays.
A word flashes up. Read it out. Next.
The child reads aloud, the iPhone listens and answers immediately. What this trains is word recognition: a word should no longer be decoded but recognised at a glance. That is exactly the point where reading stops being hard work. The time window shrinks with every level, the beat picks up, and one mistake ends the run.
A monster comes closer and wants feeding.
Every correct answer is a hit, every wave is faster and hungrier than the last. Mental arithmetic becomes something a child plays again by choice, instead of a worksheet to get through.
Photograph the vocabulary page, the app does the rest.
A photo of the exercise book turns into a vocabulary set with numbered words. After that there is exactly one button: practise. What comes up is decided by the server, from what already sticks and from the test you entered.
The homework chat is built not to hand out the answer. It asks back, breaks the task down and stays on the one at hand. The child gets there itself, and that is the point. You set the rules and read along.
Practised rounds are worth something: with them children unlock the family song, and with beans the games. You can see in the admin area what was practised and where it is stuck.

Privacy
Every row belongs to exactly one household, enforced by the database itself rather than by the app. Another family cannot see your data, not even when there is a bug in the interface.
The app runs on servers in Germany. The provider of this app is the responsible party under GDPR.
BelgAI is tied to the functions you release per child. For an answer the question goes to the AI provider and nothing else: no family profile, no collection beyond the single conversation. You set the rules, the transcripts sit with you.
There is no self-registration. Parents couple their children, and rights hang on the membership in a household rather than on the person. That is why someone can belong to several households without anything mixing.
